Star running back at Syracuse University; first black player to win the Heisman Trophy (1961); drafted by the Washington Redskins and traded to Cleveland but died the following year from leukemia before playing a pro game. Offered here is an original note page accomplished by Davis during his college days at Syracuse, penned by the gridiron great on an 8.5" x 11" sheet of lined paper. The page features a full page and a quarter of the back page of notes relating to what appears to be a Business and Marketing course. The page is accomplished in Davis' hand and is signed by him in the upper right corner. Acquired directly from Davis' personal Syracuse notebook and in excellent condition. Davis material is of the utmost rarity! Accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
