During the 1996-97 season, the NBA celebrated its 50th Anniversary and recognized the need to identify those players who elevated the game from an obscure sport to the worldwide phenomenon that it is today. Since Americans love to compile lists, a committee of former and current general managers, team executives, players, coaches and media convened to determine the 50 most influential players who shaped the game. As part of the ongoing celebration, the results were unveiled at the Grand Hyatt Hotel where the original NBA charter was signed (June 6, 1946). In honor of this historically significant recognition, offered here is a massive custom matted and framed display featuring the signatures of every NBA legend to receive the designation as being one of the NBA's all-time 50 greatest players. Centered by a limited edition 11" x 17" lithograph featuring an image of all 50 players, highlight signatures featured within this incredible display include: a Pete Maravich signed bank check, Michael Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain, Larry Bird, George Mikan, Bill Russell, Charles Barkley, Scottie Pippen, Sam Jones, Magic Johnson, Earl Monroe and many others. Archivally double matted and framed to an overall size of 40" x 32". Accompanied by Certificates of Authenticity from Upper Deck Authenticated (Jordan autograph) and a blanket COA from PSA/DNA.
